On Monday 1st March 2010 the Admissions department of the local authority sent out 102 offers of places for our new Year 7 (September 2010) intake. Our school admissions number is 77. This means that once again, due to an increasing number of parents choosing Shipston High School as their preferred Secondary school, the new intake has been hugely oversubscribed - in the case of this year by a record more than 30%.
In September 2010, for the first time in its recent history, the school will be up to its capacity admissions number across all years.
